Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She is an American Mexican actor. She sings as well. As a child, Sara was racially taunted by a lot of Americans. Her confidence began to grow in the ninth grade after she took part in a school audition. She received a lot of praise for her performance. The experience not only increased the confidence of her, but was also a change in the direction of her career. The 22-year-old earned an education from the Julliard School in New York. When she was 23, she began her career making her first appearance on Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films featuring You've Got Mail. The greatest success of her career came with her portrayal of The Lady of The Lake in Spamalot's initial Broadway production. She did not only win the Tony Award, but her performance was also well-received by critics. Her fame grew by appearing on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. She is known as a performer and released her own single and an extended version of her play. She has also been a vocal advocate for LGBT concerns.
